Only IMGs truly understand IMGs. Few outside this community fully appreciate the amount of work, dedication, time, sacrifice, and financial investment it takes to pursue the same opportunity to practice medicine. This shared experience is what makes this community powerful and why unity matters.
I wanted to share a brief note as we continue building this work together.
The only way these pathways continue to grow and remain sustainable is through shared momentum and collective effort. This is not something any single organization or individual can accomplish alone. Progress happens when we support one another, share accurate information, and continue to bring others into the conversation thoughtfully.
If you have colleagues, friends, or peers who may benefit from these pathways, I encourage you to invite them to join the We Are Docs community so they can learn, stay informed, and participate responsibly.
Additionally, if you have a healthcare facility where you already have a connection or a strong interest in working, and they may be open to the concept of alternate licensure pathways but are unsure where to start, please consider connecting us. We regularly work with hospitals, clinics, and health systems to provide education, guidance, and practical implementation support. We already have a working model that has been successful, and we are happy to help organizations build responsibly from there.
This work moves forward only when we continue to build together.
